Day 16 and Day 17 (Big Reboot)
Well, with someone else in the house, it IS very hard for me to keep the schdule. All I managed to do was to get up early and take a little nap here and there and that is all. I'll do quite a lot of driving for today and tomorrow so I don't think I'll try to set myself back to polyphasic

Day 15 (Hanging)
(6:47 a.m.) I was really sleepy last night so I skipped 1 a.m. nap and went to bed at 2:30 a.m. Slept for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Getting up is still very difficult. I think I'll put core sleep to 2:30 a.m. - 5:30 a.m. The reason of that is so that I can stay at work between 6:30 a.m. to 4p.m. or 5 p.m. Then I can just go home without worrying about coming back to finish the job. Another thing is that I want to take a nap less than 4 hours after the nap and this will pretty much guarantee it.

Lian is coming to visit me today, so it'll be an intersting week as for me to stick to the schedule without getting myself in trouble.
(3:12 p.m.) The last two naps, one at 9 a.m. and one at 1 p.m. were both successful becasue I felt very sleepy. My sleep inertia is back somehow. I used to be able to get up after 20 minutes and feeling fine. But now I always feel tired.

9:00 a.m. -- 9:45 a.m. Napped but very tired
1:40 p.m. -- 2:10 p.m. Napped (I think)

Day 14 (S.l.e.e.p.y)
(1:59 p.m.) The only good thing about being sleepy is that you fall into sleep easily during the nap. This morning I had to stand in the shower for 20 minutes before I felt better. And this was after I hit the snoozer 3 or 4 times. Boy I just wish I can get over this period soon.

I found out that a good way to keep myself up late at night is to do some programming. Although I really prefer reading because I never had time before, but I guess this would have to do for this period. I need to figure out a good way to get out of bed, though.

12:40 p.m. -- 1:10 p.m. I think I need another egg timer now. I just don't hear the warning sounds of this one anymore.
17:15 p.m. -- 6:00 p.m. I think I killed the egg timer and went back to sleep. But I cannot remember now

Day 13 (Sleepy Time)
(9:24 a.m.) Took 3 hours sleep last night, from 4:15 to 7:30. Well, that was the plan, but I hit the nozzer and didn't get up until 8:15 or so. I am quite sleepy right now. I keep on thinking that maybe I should do a 'reboot' like Nori suggested.

(11:06 p.m.) A friend is leaving for another job in the east coast so I drove over there to see him off. After the dinner, it was already past 9 p.m. so I just got in the car and tried to sleep. It was not as comfortable as I hoped but I was still able to get some sleep at the very end. Tip: Try to find a place where it is far away from the light (or with the back to the light) and away from the people.

1:40 p.m. -- 2:10 p.m. Napped
5:00 p.m. -- 5:30 p.m. Couldn't sleep
9:20 p.m. -- 9:50 p.m. Napped a little bit in the car in a shopping mall parking lot
1:00 a.m. -- 1:30 a.m. Very sleepy. Had to get up and walk around for ten minutes.

Day 12 (On the Road and Keep Schedule)
(July 1st, 9:26 a.m.) Had a 4 and 30 minutes core sleep. On the road from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. My sister was very surprised to see me up so early.

I just found out that once you are off coffee, they can be so effective even if they are from McDonalds. I stopped to get some breakfast and the coffe made me totally awake.

I was able to take a nap at a rest area. The aire was cool and the environment was quiet. But somehow I was not able to fall asleep. Don't konw why.

Came home and cut the grass. At 9 p.m. I was very tired and with grass seeds all over my clothes. So I didn't want to go to bed without shower. But I cannot go to bed after shower because I'll get a cold from sleeping with wet hair. So I took a shower and didn't take the nap.

1:10 p.m. -- 1:40 p.m. Tried in rest area, unsuccessful
6:00 p.m. -- 6:20 p.m. Was watching STARGATE at 5 p.m. Couldn't sleep during the nap, probably because I passed the nap time by an hour.
9:00 p.m. Skipped. Have you ever watched film "Mulholland Drive"? That is one weird movie.
1:00 a.m. -- 1:20 a.m. I think I slept. Very sleepy after nap.
